Last time Google seriously pissed me off was their "Google Street View" camera operation.
They took pictures of my house and published them to public Internet without asking my permission first.
I had to contact to Google personally and demand them to take all of my pictures away one by one. This took them almost three weeks. What a nice planning tool for burglar!
Google argued that their 360 degree camera took pictures of public places anyone can enter. Their camera is at 2,5 meters high. I don't have any friends that long, do you?
I think that if someone takes a picture of my property, he or she would have to ask my permission to publish it in public. Google didn't, and I'm afraid that other companies will follow.

24. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Childhood's End?
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Actually my childhood was quite normal: both of my parents were working, so I spent a lot of time out after school with my friends.
My mother bought me my first computer yeat 1980. It had 1424 bytes of memory and a Basic programming language. I started to learn the programming.
I made first calls using a phone and a modem year 1984 and I joined Internet 1985. Next year 1996 I started to run a Bulletin Board System (BBS) from my home with a PC and a single phone line.
I built my first Internet WWW home pages 1995.
It looks like I have been ahead all my life.
Nowadays there comes so much information, that I am getting behind.

58. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Unthink
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Unthink is a new Social Media marketing itself as "Anti-Facebook".
They say that they will let the users to decide how the system should work. Users can choose which company can "sponsor" them and feed advertisement.
You can also pay USD 2 and get rid of ads.
Unthink is extremely hard to take to use. Luckily all the Privacy Settings are set to "private" by default, which is better than Facebook does.
Facebook normally sets all of your new privacy settings to "public" by default.
Unthink main window is confusing. There is "iBelieve" window with 21 different slogans on the left. There is "Lifestyle Tree" window on the right.
I have no slightest idea of what these are about.
Unthink says that it will challenge Facebook.
Better work hard, because Facebook has only 800 million users more than Unthink.

23. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: When we were young
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
When I was born, I needed a pacifier. I got one hammered from steel. It felt cold on winters.
When I was three, I asked my father for some toys. He took me to forest, gave me a knife, showed the trees and said: "There you have toys". I did.
When I was seven, I had to ski to school all year. I hit the wolves using ski poles.
I think that life for kids today is easier than it was for us without mobile telephone, computers and Internet, but we had imagination, and still do!
