"The answer to the ultimate question of life, the Universe, and
everything" has been solved. Douglas Adams write five-part trilogy called "The
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", which solves this one out.
They built a super computer called "Deep Thought", which
solved the answer.
No-one knew the question giving this answer the meaning, so they
built the most powerful super computer - called "Earth".
Vogons destroyed this super computer five minutes before the
question was ready, so we do not know it yet.
But we know the answer. It is
"Wednesday is the best day, because then comes - Jimmy J. Jazz!"

41. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Things that got broken within one month
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Things that got broken within last January 2011:
1. Skis - the salesman said that "These skis were used the way they shouldn't"- how is this even possible? Changed.
2. Fridge - it started to whistle in the middle if the night. Repairman came and it got even worse. Returned.
3. Digital frame - it got broken while I tried to copy new pictures on it and it didn't boot anymore. Returned.
4. Coffee mill - if you clean it or wash the parts, the mill stops working. It pisses me seriously off once a week. Still in use.

(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
- Oh! Look at that one.
- Oh dear - yes!
- And even that one - look!
- Yes! It's surely worth of two points.
- And those colours! Oh, God!
- Yeah! Some do not have any taste.
- I wonder - when do people start to wear decent colours?
- It might need some more evolution.

37. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: The Sun and the Rain
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
The Sun and the Rain discussed together.
Rain said: "I am stronger than you. I can leave you behind and hide you!"
Sun said: "It does not matter. Even when it rains, the people will know that I am always there and when it shines, the people forget the rain!"
So the Rain went away.

36. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Baby Social Media pages
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Nowadays it looks like some parents have built the Social Network pages to their babies.
I even expect to see first Social Network pages made to unborn child.
It is possible that someone has already done this.
What happens when the baby grows up?
When does the baby get the update rights to pages?
Does the baby have to be 18 years old?
Is it allowed to remove "poo pictures" earlier?
I think that the parents should not build Social Media pages for their children, because the children can do it by themselves when they want to - or make a decision not to!

35. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: What happened to Corto Maltese?
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Corto Maltese: My friend Raspa, we will get to the Holy Grain soon.
Rasputin: Yeah, and remember that half of the money belongs to me.
Corto Maltese: I hired you for the company, not to bargain.
Rasputin: And don't you dare to fool me, or I'll kill you. It can happen in this war.
"CRACK!"
Rasputin: Corto! What in the name of the devil? Someone is shooting us! And no place to hide. Hey! Shoot me too! Rasputin is not afraid to die!
Soledad Lokaart: Rasputin? Corto! Oh my God! What have I done?
Rasputin: Soledad?
Soledad Lokaart: Corto? Oh no!
Rasputin: Yeah, nice shot.
Corto Maltese: Pandora?
Soledad Lokaart: Pandora..? Yes Corto, if you wish.
Rasputin: He's raving.
Corto Maltese: Yes, Pandora. You were so gentle to me. I have always wanted to tell you...that I ...love...you.

33. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Cleaning is unnecessary
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Cleaning is unnecessary, because:
1. If there is dirt on your car, the paintwork under it is safe.
2. When you do cleaning, you start easily sweat.
Sweating people are not "clean".
3. When you clean, all the dirt gets into the vacuum cleaner's dirtpack.
When you empty it you'll get dirt all over.
This does not help you to keep you environment clean.
4. Think about all the famous last words.
Have you ever heard that someone said: "I wish I had cleaned more in my life!"

31. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Drowning by Numbers
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
I went all my Facecömic strips through and I noticed that I have missed SoMe numbering.
The original aim was to draw 52 Facecömic strips and stop.
Same thing happened to me when I started to play drums: the original idea was to understand how Rush songs were made and stop.
Still playing after 27 years.
I do bookkeeping for my companies, so missing numbers worries me.
You are not supposed to loose numbers in professional bookkeeping.
But it looks like I do.
I think this must be because of too much stress in my life.
Almost every thing can be fixed, except people.
So I just draw and number the ones I have missed.

30. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Netti-ilta #a2ilta
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Finnish television YLE TV2 arranged on the 29th of March 2011 "Netti-ilta" ("Internet Evening"). 18 people were invited.
This evening was sort of Twitter breakthrough in Finland. About 3000 Twitter messages called "tweets", which could be found in Twitter using hashtag #a2ilta , were sent from Finnish Twitter users.
The conversation was mostly about Facebook, forgetting orher Social Medias, but it was amazing how Twitter users commented the program so well, that you could turn off TV and follow the show from Twitter.
Mobile devices were banned on studio, but the evening showed the real power of Social Media.

27. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: meets ZZ Top part 2
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Many things passed my mind seeing ZZ Top waiting for our band to start playing.
ZZ Top got disturbed by several people.
They went runnin' as fast as they could.
They jumped to their Rolls-Royce and drove away just when we started to play our music.
"All These Years You Have Wondered What The Hell This All Was About" Tour:
- "Hey, there's an unsigned Finnish band playing their own progressive music in Helsinki tomorrow."
- "Let's fly there to see them. I will rent a car."
- "Yeah. We can ask them if they would be interested of being out warm-up band and getting a record deal!"

26. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: meets ZZ Top part 1
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
This is a true story: my most confusing music experience was when me and my band were ready to perform in "Espan lava", which is the stage on Helsinki city center, "Esplanadi park".
I saw Rolls Royce stopping near stage.
"Tres Hombres" came out.
I saw ZZ Top walking beside of our stage, going to restaurant Kappeli terrace, ordering beer and waiting for our band to begin.
To be continued...

25. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Google Street View
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Last time Google seriously pissed me off was their "Google Street View" camera operation.
They took pictures of my house and published them to public Internet without asking my permission first.
I had to contact to Google personally and demand them to take all of my pictures away one by one. This took them almost three weeks. What a nice planning tool for burglar!
Google argued that their 360 degree camera took pictures of public places anyone can enter. Their camera is at 2,5 meters high. I don't have any friends that long, do you?
I think that if someone takes a picture of my property, he or she would have to ask my permission to publish it in public. Google didn't, and I'm afraid that other companies will follow.

24. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Childhood's End?
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Actually my childhood was quite normal: both of my parents were working, so I spent a lot of time out after school with my friends.
My mother bought me my first computer yeat 1980. It had 1424 bytes of memory and a Basic programming language. I started to learn the programming.
I made first calls using a phone and a modem year 1984 and I joined Internet 1985. Next year 1996 I started to run a Bulletin Board System (BBS) from my home with a PC and a single phone line.
I built my first Internet WWW home pages 1995.
It looks like I have been ahead all my life.
Nowadays there comes so much information, that I am getting behind.

58. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Unthink
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Unthink is a new Social Media marketing itself as "Anti-Facebook".
They say that they will let the users to decide how the system should work. Users can choose which company can "sponsor" them and feed advertisement.
You can also pay USD 2 and get rid of ads.
Unthink is extremely hard to take to use. Luckily all the Privacy Settings are set to "private" by default, which is better than Facebook does.
Facebook normally sets all of your new privacy settings to "public" by default.
Unthink main window is confusing. There is "iBelieve" window with 21 different slogans on the left. There is "Lifestyle Tree" window on the right.
I have no slightest idea of what these are about.
Unthink says that it will challenge Facebook.
Better work hard, because Facebook has only 800 million users more than Unthink.

23. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: When we were young
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
When I was born, I needed a pacifier. I got one hammered from steel. It felt cold on winters.
When I was three, I asked my father for some toys. He took me to forest, gave me a knife, showed the trees and said: "There you have toys". I did.
When I was seven, I had to ski to school all year. I hit the wolves using ski poles.
I think that life for kids today is easier than it was for us without mobile telephone, computers and Internet, but we had imagination, and still do!

22. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Machine language translations
(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
"Machine language translations" really piss me off. I can't understand why big companies don't really have someone in Finland, who could speak Finnish and do the translation to different manuals.
Finnish is one of the most difficult languages in the worlds. For instance the word "talo" ("house" in English) can have 14 or 15 different cases. When my mother was young there was also "prolatiivi". So 15 or 16 different cases then. Finnish is getting easier!
I bought a lawn mover. There came both Finnish and English manuals. I didn't understand a word of the Finnish version, but the English version made sense. The grass is not growing anymore.
I bought also a coffee mill. There came only Finnish manual saying for instance "Beware of maximum quantity exceed max. sign"! WTF? Also "The container should be put on the machine" - I'd rather put it in. But she cooks good coffee.

(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
My social network friend Speedy is a chihuahua from Kerava, Finland, but she just got Green Card and lives in U.S.A. She likes to play all day and she hates cats.
Lea is a traffic sign warning for high speed and cameras. Lea is also a Unix guru and interested of middle ages.
Aapo is a tattoo living on Lennu's shoulder. Aapo is interested of booze and cracking.
Tommy is a dark corridor. He composes, plays and sings music in progressive band.

(Click the picture to enlarge it and click Esc button on your browser to return.)
Facebook is asking you to tag pictures and identify your contacts.
This can be very dangerous, because someone can forge your identity card and empty your bank account or take a huge loan by your name.
In Facebook you cannot ban your friends of doing this, but you can make a change in your preferences, so that you are the only one who sees these tags of you, and then you can remove them.
In the future your identification information will be even more valuable than today.
Start raising your own value by deleting all of your pictures from Facebook and from public Internet.
It might be harder that you think.
